ABOUT US
Our company was founded in 1968 by Alfred Mücher senior and Sieglinde Enstipp in Essen-Altendorf. Since our beginnings we have been involved in the drying, screening and grinding of carbonaceous raw materials.
In 1981, we expanded and relocated our production to Essen’s city harbour with perfect storage and transport connections. We have various processing plants on an operating area of 14,000 square metres. These include dryers, crushing and mixing plants, modern screening machines and a grinding plant.
As a small family business, we not only supply refined carbon products to more than 50 countries around the world, but also a wealth of valuable, cross-generational experience and technical process know-how. All of this is combined with great personal commitment. Our decisiveness and flexibility support our high level of problem-solving expertise.

Our products allow us a high degree of flexibility when it comes to packaging and transport. Our bulk materials can be loaded loose directly into silo or tipper lorries or packed in paper sacks or big bags for transport on pallets.

OUR QUALITY
We supply carbon products of different provenance and mineralisation with specified chemical analysis and specific grain size distributions.
State-of-the-art process technology combined with extensive internal and external raw material analyses, ongoing quality controls and a long-standing workforce guarantee our customers a consistently high level of quality.
ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
We not only look after and care about our relationships, but also nature, environmental protection, resource conservation and energy efficiency are part of our daily corporate policy.
Since 2012, we have therefore also maintained an energy management system for small and medium-sized companies. We received a silver medal for our CSR work.
